** This item includes the E-Learning course and pool sessions required to complete your pool and class requirement for your Open Water Certification**


Your Open Water Certification consists of three components: Knowledge Development, Confined Water Training, and Open Water Dives. This is the first two parts - the first step - to beoming a PADI Open Water Diver. This is the E-Learning (digital) version of Pool and Class, where you complete the knowledge development portions at home, then come in for the pool sessions.


Your Knowledge Development and Confined Water Training will prepare you to complete your open water dives through the introduction and in-depth study of diving skills, safety, physiology, and problem management. Your instructor will guide you through the program, introducing you to the gear you'll be using to dive, and walking you through becoming a diver, step-by-step. Through five modules, you'll cover the following:


-Use and basic maintenance of scuba diving gear

-Management of problems underwater and at the surface

-Mastery of skills required to dive safely

-Dive theory and physiology

-Dive computer use



-Minimum 10 years old (Junior Open Water)

-Good swimming skills

-Completion of PADI Medical Questionnaire


Gear Required:

-Swimsuit and Towel (We will provide all the dive gear you need for the pool sessions!)


Included in Course:

-E-Learning Training Code (emailed to you within two business days of registration)

-Pool training sessions and use of all gear required for the course

*Please note - there are no physical training materials for the E-Learning version of the course, your manual will be in digital format.


What you need to do:

-Register for the course!

-Your E-Learning Crewpack will be held for pickup or delivered based on your shipping preference

-Fill in the indicated paperwork (student file info sections, medical, logbook)

-Complete the E-Learning course in its entirety, including all exams. 

-Call us when you're ready to book your weekend Classroom and Pool sessions. You will need to devote a weekend to the course:

  • Friday: 6pm - 8pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 1pm
  • Sunday: 9am - 1pm



Weekends don't work? No worries! Because we have our own pool, you can make your pool sessions private with one of our instructors for an additional charge. 


Upon completion of this course, you will be ready to complete your four open water dives, and earn your PADI Open Water Certification. These dives can be completed at any PADI facility worldwide - locally, in our beautiful mountain lakes, or somewhere warm and tropical.


Open Water: Pool and Class Course - E-Learning Package (Including Pool Sessions)

  • Your crewpack will contain a medical waiver that you are required to fill out. You will need to physically answer 'YES' or 'NO' to all the questions asked. If you have any 'YES' answers - no worries, you will need to get a doctor to sign off prior to being allowed to participate in the pool portion of the course. Please note this is a requirement to being able to get in the pool. If you come to class with a 'YES' and no Doctor's approval, you will be required to reschedule.
